Statement on Oxford High School Shooting

Lansing, Mich. - What occurred on Nov. 30 at Oxford High School was a tragedy. The death of multiple students and the harm inflicted on others is absolutely horrifying and heartbreaking. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Oxford community, especially the parents who are left without their children. 

We know this is also difficult for several members of College Republicans and alumni who call the Oxford area their home. We hope the focus remains on the victims, those affected, and the heroic actions displayed on this terrible day.

Thank you to the action of first responders for arriving to the scene quickly. We will continue to pray for the Oxford community.
